Circuit Training Class
Want to know if fitness classes are right for you? Check out some of our frequently asked questions.
What is a Circuit Training class?
A circuit training class/session consist of a series of strength-training exercises that are performed one after the other, with minimal rest between each exercise. Typical exercises performed in my circuit training classes are cardiovascular, calisthenics, core stabilization, strength and conditioning, and power exercises. My circuit training classes are group exercise classes, which is very beneficial in building a social support unit around my participants. Having a social support unit is one of the strongest predictors of exercise adherence. Participants are more enthusiastic, encouraging of one another, socially interactive and seem to enjoy their workouts more.
Who can participate?
Each exercise in the circuit training class can be regressed for beginners or progressed for the more advanced exerciser. Any exercise level can participate. It is designed for you to go at your own pace, and it is easy to monitor your progression week by week.
Circuit training is great for individuals with limited time, and for those who want to improve their fitness levels and alter body composition.
What days and times are the classes offered?
Circuit Training classes are currently run three (3) days a week on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
How can I get started?
Spaces are limited so you will need to contact me to reserve your spot for each class. I like to keep the size of each class to a maximum of ten (10) participants. This allows me to give my full attention to each participant ensuring proper form and technique is being applied.
What is the cost?
Each Circuit Training class is $20. This can be paid in advance of each class by visiting the Make a Payment page.
Want a more intimate setting?
I also offer private Circuit Training classes for groups of five (5) or more. This could be for your friends and family, work colleagues, sports clubs or any other groups/organizations.
